Behold I stand at the door and knock.
Revelation 3: 20 says 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.'
Now where would that door be? What would it sound like? Would you hear your name? When is this supposed to happen, and how would I experience it?
Let's break it down:
Where is the door? The obvious answer is the door to your heart. Every Christian knows that, but they more than like don't know what it really means. Is there a literal door on the heart? No, not really. Is this a metaphor? No, actually it isn't.
Here's something I have been experiencing and I haven't told anyone until now. There is a door in your heart. It's real, and it exists, but you can only use your thoughts and imagination in order to look for it.
What does the door look like and what does it sound like? Well, since it is left up to the imagination to fill in the details, the door is whatever comes to mind when you see a door. However, it sounds like someone is knocking at this door. This knocking has been going on for some time, at least as far as I can tell. So why doesn't somebody answer it?
Oh, because you didn't know where the door was? Or maybe you didn't know there was a door? If you say you are a Christian, and you didn't know of such things, then maybe you should reconsider what you're believing, because it's right there.
John 14:1 - 3
Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am. there you may be also.
As Christians you always talk about having Jesus in your heart. That's because you know where the door is, you know who is knocking, you know you need to answer it. But have you seen the door? Have you heard the knocking on the door? It sounds like someone knocking with a bit of a knuckle bite to the sound.
And of course the closer you get, you will hear your name being called.
It is happening now, because it has been happening for a long time. We didn't know where to look before, and we didn't know what we were supposed to listen for.
As for who is knocking. For all you know, I could be doing it. I am the one trying to show you the path. How you had all the pieces all along. So, quiet your mind from the noise of this reality trying to get your attention and turn it within to speak to the one who has been there this whole time.
Do you hear the knocking now? It's okay to say "no". The longest road is the one from your head to your heart. Sometimes you need to walk the path to even know what's on the path.
Oh, you were thinking that I was talking about the act of becoming a Christian? Ah, no, we are way past that point. We are now in the age of the believer. One who finally can become one with God. However, in order to do anything, we always must start from within. In this case, your heart. Focus your thoughts there and know that what you don't understand, will be interpreted in ways to help you understand.
Until you learn to let go of the physical things that command our attention, and let them go, then you can start seeing that this is the path to being together with God/Ascension/Rapture. The reason for the ridiculous nature of things is to make it easier to let your forced control of it, to instead let it all go.
It's like that question where you are going to a deserted island and could bring only 1, or 3 or 10 things. What if you bring none of those things? To live, what do you need besides food, water, air and sleep? Anything besides those components to living, are what demands your time.
It is almost as if we are on the edge. One one side, we gain ourselves, on the other, we become part of the world machine.
It's time to look inside and see for yourself. Always start there. Listen. If you don't hear anything, keep going. You'll eventually find it. It'll be okay, trust me.
